
Steve Horner is the
Principal of Horner &
Associates, LLC, a
management consulting
firm specializing in
organizational
effectiveness solutions
for small and medium
sized organizations.
Prior to establishing
his consulting practice
he was Vice President of
Training and Development
for a Fortune 1000
financial services
organization. In that
role he was responsible
for the development of
the workforce through
the implementation of
various organizational
effectiveness
initiatives. Steve has
over 25 years experience
in all aspects of
organizational
effectiveness
specializing in
executive coaching, team
building, conflict
resolution, succession
planning, mentoring,
employee involvement,
employee relations,
leadership development,
facilitation, training,
and performance
management. He is
currently an adjunct
faculty member for the
Montgomery County
Community College and
the Insurance Institute
of America. His
memberships include the
Philadelphia Human
Resource Planning
Society (PHRPS),
American Society of
Training and Development
(ASTD), Society for
Human Resource
Management (SHRM) and
Society of Insurance
Trainers and Educators
(SITE). He is also on
the board of the
Montgomery County
Community College
Foundation. Steve also
serves on the Human
Resources committee of
the North Penn Chamber
of Commerce.
He earned an Associate
degree in Social
Sciences from Montgomery
County Community
College, a Bachelor’s
degree in psychology and
sociology from Temple
University and two
graduate degrees in
Organizational Dynamics
from the University of
Pennsylvania. He has
also earned the
professional
designations Chartered
Property Casualty
Underwriter (CPCU),
Chartered Life
Underwriter (CLU),
Associate in Risk
Management (ARM),
Associate in Management
(AIM), and the Senior
Professional in Human
